I believe that creating the very best photography requires more than just technical skill.
I have no interest in just recording events when instead I can tell stories and capture memories in a unique and enduring way. That’s why it’s important to me to build a rapport with my clients and get to know what makes them tick.
For me its cars.
And punk rock.
Oh and theatre, ballroom dance and BMX and well.. too much silly stuff to list .
In my pictures, as in life I find myself drawn to many different disciplines from wedding and portrait photography to product images, tuition and film.
As a passionate and experienced photographer I spend a much of my time shooting weddings. It’s a great feeling knowing that images will be enjoyed and passed on to future generations by couples and their families. When I’m not capturing a happy couple’s special day you’ll find me in the studio or on location shooting fashion and beauty portraiture or working with commercial clients to give their products images the edge.
My wedding style can be described as contemporary reportage. I take an informal and discreet approach to shooting, allowing my subjects to show their personality and create images whilst still creating stunning key shots with studio technique. When it comes to marshalling the troops for more traditional shots, over ten years experience in teaching has left me able to deal with large groups with ease, a task many wedding photographers underestimate.
Since 2011 my photography has taken me to caves and cathedrals, fashion shows and foreign lands working working with clients such as The Billington Group, Infinite 3D, Oxford College and Giancarlo Ricci.
