Is Graphistudio the perfect way to remember your day? Sarah and Michelle think so.

Sarah and Michelle’s civil ceremony was a wonderful day. Despite an all day downpour and some photo-phobic guests we had a blast. In fact we had such a good time that I volunteered an extra shoot at their venue on a sunny day so we could complete the album the way I wanted.

I like to share examples of my work on this site to keep you up to date with what I’m doing and how I’m shooting as well as providing the couples with an opportunity to have their say about working with me.

Sarah and Michelle wish to keep their wedding images private but were eager to share their incredible finished album. I knew they wanted to avoid animal products so that means none of the usual leather covered books.

So here’s what we designed. This book from Graphistudio in Italy is handmade with a satin finished metal cover and a woven back and spine which creates a sleek modern way to remember and share the day with family and friends.

I love the simple style of the album and so do the couple.  The smaller copies you see are ‘Mignon books’. These perfect replicas are ideal as gifts for your guests and really have to be seen to be believed.

Here’s what they had to say:

“As we planned our civil ceremony we thought that finding a photographer would be one of the easier things …how wrong we were! Too many to chose from and no real idea of exactly what we wanted , We felt thoroughly overwhelmed by it all having looked at so many web sites and photographers work – and getting nowhere.

We realised we would need something of a connection with the photographer …and when we had it we would know ….. and then we met Jon there was no other choice.

From the word go Jon was friendly, funny and he simply helped us to get the very best pictures of our wedding day – stunning in fact. Jon brought real energy to each shoot we had with him , it was infectious and often we were giggling our way to fantastic shots.

On our wedding day , nothing fazed Jon , from torrential rain to non compliant guests ,  he still managed to coral everyone into outstanding group shots, incredible close ups capturing  the emotion and joy  we felt .
It seemed that he always had our interests in the forefront of his mind , not his own- and this shows in our brilliant album.

The end results took our breath away, wonderfully creative and unique , its clear that Jon really cares about the end product, our photos and album, which has already become a treasured and loved journal of our special day.”
